Location
Bodybalance Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic is located in Vision Health and Fitness Club, within Hertfordshire Sports Village on the University of Hertfordshire’s new de Havilland Campus in Hatfield. Visit the Sports Village web site for a location map.

Hertfordshire Sports Village (HSV) opened in September 2003 and as a result contains state of the art Sports and fitness equipment. Principally for student use, HSV is fully open to the general public and is also utilised by many of the Counties sports teams.

Appointment Times
Bodybalance Physiotherapy aims to be as flexible as possible offering appointments to suit individuals. We can offer appointments from Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 9pm depending on the day.

Your initial assessment will take up to 60 minutes. Follow on physiotherapy treatments are 30minutes each.

We are hoping to over Saturday mornung clinics as from the beginning of March - watch this space for details.

Do I Need a Referral?
If you do not have medical insurance you can make an appointment without contacting your GP.

Most medical insurance policies request that you are referred to Physiotherapy by your GP or Specialist. If you would like your physiotherapy costs to be covered by your medical insurance please notify them before making an initial appointment. Please bring your membership details and authorisation number to your first appointment.

Prices
Physiotherapy prices vary depending on whether you are a member of Hertfordshire Sports Village or not. There are also a variety of discounted prices depending on your status. We also offer special rates for identified sports clubs.

The current prices for Physiotherapy Assessment and Treatment are shown below (March 2007).

An intial assessment will take approximately 1 hour and follow up appointments 1/2 an hour.

Payment
Bodybalance Physiotherapy and Sports Injury clinic is registered with all major health insurance groups. You will be required to pay for your treatment at the time of your appointment and then will be given a reciept so that your money can be claimed back from your insurance company.

Cash or cheque payments can be made to the Physiotherapist at the time of the appointment. We are hoping to be able to except credit and debit card payments by March 2008.

When booking the appointment non members of Hertfordshire Sports Village will be asked to secure the booking with credit card details. Failure to attend the appointment or cancellation of less than 24hrs notice will result in the full cost of the appointment being charged to the patient.
