About Bodybalance Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic

Chartered Physiotherapists in Hertfordshire, 01707 284 910

Bodybalance Clinic
Bodybalance Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic has been providing physiotherapy to members of the public and the staff and students of the University of Hertfordshire since 1999. Our first class skills, knowledge and experience mean we can help people recover from their injury and return to sport and exercise with full fitness.

The clinic has expanded in this time and is now fully accessible to all members of the local community, local sports clubs and elite athletes alike. Our newly refurbished facilitites are first class and allow us to tailor a bespoke treatment and rehabilitation plan to suit your needs.

Our Philosophy
At Bodybalance Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic our philosophy is based on a holistic patient centered approach. You will be viewed as a whole individual rather than just 'body parts'. Whatever your needs, our detailed assessment process will ensure that we identify the cause of the problem rather that just treating the symptoms.

Evidence over the years has indicated that there are multiple pathogies that can affect the same joint. ‘Anterior knee pain’ for example affects 60% of athletes and 25% of the general public. Treatment of this condition is not as straight forward as ‘strengthening the knee’. At Bodybalance, you will be comprehensively assessed by your Chartered Physiotherapist; this may involve looking at the foot, hip and back in addition to how you walk, run and play sport. As well as understanding the knee, it is also important to understand your fitness and activity levels, your training patterns, your motivation, your footwear and any unique requirements of your sport. We aim to empower you to manage your own condition to ensure that you do not become reliant on physiotherapy.
